We’re spending $54 million on water and sewer

Water and sewer services are front runners in this year’s annual budget.

Kempsey Shire Council has budgeted $54 million for works to improve water and sewer services in the next year including:

  • Continuing the development of the and
  • Repairing, maintaining and planning effective stormwater drainage systems
  • Developing new water treatment plants at and
  • Progressing the installation of an emergency water treatment plant at Steuart McIntyre Dam to safeguard water supply to Kempsey and Lower Macleay.
