Lake Macquarie City Council
Council will be spraying weeds in the Swansea, Caves Beach and Blacksmiths area from 3pm, Sunday 25 August 2024. The product we will be using is Javelin and is used to target Bindi, Clover and other broadleaf weeds.
The areas we will be focusing on include:
- Quinn Park, Swansea
- Channel Street, Swansea
- Hams Beach, Caves Beach
- Blacksmiths Beach, Blacksmiths – north and south
- Eddie Charlton Reserve, Swansea
Spraying will be carried out under strict supervision and guidelines in accordance with health and safety requirements. Spraying may be postponed pending change in weather conditions.
