Midland Detectives have charged a man after an incident that occurred in West Swan last night, in which two people were injured.
It will be alleged about 9.30pm, the man was involved in a physical altercation with a man and woman at a Caravan Park. During the altercation a 42-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman received several lacerations, requiring urgent medical attention.
Both victims were conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital. The woman is in a critical but stable condition in ICU and the man is in a stable condition (not in ICU).
A 51-year-old man from West Swan has been charged with:-
• Grievous Bodily Harm;
• Wounding;
• Common Assault; and
• Assault Public Officer.
He is due to appear before the Midland Magistrates Court today, 21 February 2019.
