Western Australia Covid update as at 5 November 2021

WA Health is reporting no cases of COVID-19 in the State.

The State’s total remains at 1112. To date, 1103 people have recovered from the virus in WA.

Testing clinics

Yesterday, 211 people were swabbed at State-run clinics. To date, there have been 1,880,859 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those, 216,896 were in regional WA.

COVID-19 vaccinations*

Since vaccination numbers were reported yesterday, 22,931 COVID-19 vaccine doses were recorded in WA – 14,003 of these were second doses. The total includes 5,449 historic COVID-19 vaccine doses*. These figures represent COVID-19 vaccinations at State-run clinics and doses given as part of the Commonwealth rollout**.

Appointments are no longer required at State-run clinics in metropolitan Perth and regional areas.

  • this weekend (6-7 November) at locations around Perth and regional WA
  • COVID-19 are available at state-run clinics
  • New and expanded have opened or will open soon including:
    • pop-up clinics at select stores, opening 6-7 November;
    • Central Shopping Centre, Carramar Village Shopping Centre, The Square, and , Mirrabooka (appointments are preferred but not required);
    • Perth Airport for FIFO workers; and
    • drop-in appointments for everyone aged 12 years at all .
  • Western Australian children aged 12 to 15 years are . Parents and guardians are encouraged to visit to register and book appointments for their children in this age group.
