Western Australians are urged to ‘roll up’ for the State Government’s ‘Super Vax Weekend’ from November 6 to 7 as WA prepares for its transition out of the pandemic.
Pop-up clinics at eight Bunnings stores and other convenient locations, as well as fixed State-run clinics, will make it easier than ever for Western Australians to get vaccinated – with no appointment necessary.
Participating Bunnings stores include Rockingham, Harrisdale, Mindarie, Balcatta, Cannington, Ellenbrook, Geraldton and Busselton.
Thousands of Diwali festivalgoers will also be able to ‘roll up’ for WA at an expanded Claremont Showgrounds clinic with extended hours.
Western Australians can also get vaccinated at clinics in Coolbellup, Northbridge, Carramar, Armadale, Midland, Kwinana, Joondalup, Perth CBD, Mirrabooka, Geraldton, Morawa, Northam, Albany and Bunbury.
A new clinic will open today in the Peel region, located at 5/264 Pinjarra Road, Mandurah and a new clinic at Canning Vale Market City, first floor, Block B, Suite 14/280 Bannister Road, will open to coincide with ‘Super Vax Weekend’.
As part of ‘Super Vax Weekend’, selfie stations will be available for post-‘vax’ happy snaps, so after people have rolled up for WA, they can share the good news with friends and family, using the hashtag #RollupforWA.
To keep the kids entertained, a variety of activities will be at the pop-up clinics, including activity booklets, stickers and bubble machines at select locations.
Opening hours vary depending on your preferred location, please visit for more information.
WA Health State COVID-19 vaccination clinics continue to be available in more than 100 locations across WA. People are urged to visit to find out where they can get vaccinated as soon as possible.
Western Australians can also get vaccinated at GPs, pharmacies, Aboriginal Medical Services and GP respiratory clinics, which are managed by the Commonwealth.
As stated by Premier Mark McGowan:
“It’s never been more important – or more convenient – to roll up for your COVID-19 vaccination.
“This weekend is ‘Super Vax Weekend’ and I urge all of those who’ve yet to be vaccinated to roll up to one of the eight participating Bunnings stores, a pop-up clinic or one of our existing State-run clinics.
“No bookings are required – you can walk straight in.
“I’ve always said the way out of this pandemic is high vaccination rates, and this remains the case as today I outline WA’s Safe Transition Plan out of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
As stated by Health Minister Roger Cook:
“Vaccination is the best defence we have against this deadly virus – it is the best protection against serious illness, hospitalisation and death.
“This weekend’s ‘Super Vax Weekend’ is the opportunity for anyone not vaccinated to simply walk straight in and get vaccinated.
“Please roll up for WA and get vaccinated – for yourself, your family and your community.”
