Following this week’s extreme weather events, our crews have been inundated with pothole patching and repair work across the shire’s road network.
While they’re doing their best to attend to all remediation works as quickly as possible, due to the high volume of requests being received, your patience is greatly appreciated.
We ask that all road users continue to drive with caution on sealed and unsealed roads across the shire.
In addition, the recent heavy rain has created the ideal growing environment for grass.
Once the weather clears up and the ground dries out, our crews will also be able to work through the backlog of mowing that’s required.
Finally, please be aware that due to the ground conditions and water saturation, all of our sporting grounds are CLOSED at this time.
