Join Dr Jo Langdon as she presents a lecture on her 2024 Creative Arts Fellowship research into the lives and records of Australian women pilots, exploring their experiences through new works of poetry.

Straight from Strait is an upcoming Torres Strait Island musical about the breaking of a world record. Join Aunty Ruth Ghee, Uncle Luke Captain, Georgia Corowa and Rhianna Patrick as they discuss the details of this performance and why opera was chosen to tell this story.

Join us these school holidays for a creative writing workshop with NLA Publishing children’s author Sarah Luke. Learn how to create the hook to your story and write a climactic scene for your character using historical images. This workshop is targeted at children aged 10 to 12 years of age.
