Shellharbour City Council will host the Hidden Forest Festival at Blackbutt this Saturday 9 April with a new name to join the line-up of local and national artists.
Wollongong born, Melbourne based artist, Tyne-James Organ will perform at the festival after Perth’s Tired Lion Band was unable to perform due to health issues.
Tyne-James will bring his indie-rock tunes to the stage and perform powerful, passionate tracks from his debut album ‘Necessary Evil’ as well as his popular singles.
He will join headliner, Something for Kate and a line-up of artists including another Illawarra local, Bec Sandridge.
The Hidden Forest Festival is an all-ages event nestled within the magical Blackbutt Forest. The event will bring together good music, great food and beverages and local handmade markets.
Shellharbour City Mayor Chris ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾r said it was exciting to be able to host another local artist and celebrate great music.
“Hidden Forest is a wonderful event for Shellharbour and a great opportunity to catch up with friends and enjoy a family-friendly festival experience,” Mayor ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾r said.
