A woman has died after she was struck by a car on a property at Wingham on the state’s Mid-North Coast.
About 7.45pm yesterday (Monday 11 November 2019), the 81-year-old woman was at her Killawarra Street home when she was struck by a car while in the rear yard.
Residents from surrounding homes assisted the woman until NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived; however, she died at the scene.
The driver of the car, a 78-year-old man, was taken to Manning Base Hospital and treated for shock.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
