Police are investigating a fatal crash in Kinglake earlier this month.
It is believed a vehicle was travelling east along Weber Road when it careered over a crest and crashed into a tree around 11.39am.
The driver, a 28-year-old Kinglake woman, was taken to hospital and sadly later died.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and police are investigating if speed was a factor.
