A woman has died following a collision in Malvern on 19 January.
It is believed the driver of a Ford Fiesta was attempting an illegal U-turn on Tooronga Road, between Viva and Young streets, when they collided with an Audi travelling north just after 9.30am.
The 84-year-old driver of the Ford was hospitalised with life-threatening injuries.
Sadly, she died in hospital on 21 January.
The driver of the Audi, a 44-year-old Prahran man, was taken to hospital for observation and is expected to be interviewed by police.
