A woman has died after a tree branch fell on her in Sydney’s south west.
About 1pm today (Sunday 15 September 2024) emergency services were called to Castlereagh Street, Liverpool, following reports a tree branch had fallen on a woman.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the woman at the scene, but she could not be revived.
Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command attended the scene and have commenced inquiries.
The woman is believed to be aged in her 60s but is yet to be formally identified.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
