A woman has died in hospital after a crash involving a cyclist and a truck in Sydney’s inner west last month.
Just before 4:35pm on Thursday 28 March 2019, emergency services were called to the intersection of Parramatta Road and Western Avenue, Camperdown, after a cyclist and a truck collided.
The cyclist, a 21-year-old woman, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before she was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical condition.
The truck driver was uninjured and taken to RPA for mandatory testing.
Officers from Inner West Police Area Command attended and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
It’s believed a collision occurred while the truck was turning left onto Parramatta Road from Western Avenue.
Just before midday yesterday (Wednesday 3 April 2019), the woman’s life support was turned off.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
