Police will be preparing a report for the Coroner following a workplace accident at Walkerville today.
Emergency services rushed to a building site on North East Road just after 9.30am on Wednesday 1 June after a man was found unresponsive inside an electrical pit.
Tragically, a 39-year-old man from Seaford died at the scene.
South bound traffic on North East Road was closed between Hampstead Road/Ascot Avenue and St Andrews Street while emergency services remained at the scene. The road has since been reopened.
There are no suspicious circumstances and police will be preparing a report for the State Coroner.
