This morning 80 volunteers planted 2000 native tubes in Sir Joseph Banks Park as part of Bayside Council’s World Environment Day event.
The native tubes were a selection of endangered species from the eastern suburbs banksia scrub found only in the eastern parts of Sydney.
This event was held in partnership with Conservation Volunteers Australia and supported by NSW Ports.
