Detectives have charged a man after an alleged wounding incident at Ipswich today.
It will be alleged emergency services where called to a Milford Street residence after a 39-year-old man was stabbed in the back.
Police located another man, who is also 39, nearby.
The victim was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he remains in a stable condition with two wounds to his back.
The 39-year-old Ipswich man is in police custody and will appear at the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Monday, August 28.
The men are known to each other.
