Wyndham City’s Youth Services is asking young people, aged 12-25, to participate in a short survey to share their ideas and thoughts about how the look and feel of the Youth Resource Centre in Hoppers Crossing can be improved.
The survey aims to find out what young people would like to improve in the centre, from service delivery to the refurbishment of the building. There’s a chance to win an ipad Air 5th Gen. valued at $849.
Wyndham City Mayor, Cr Susan McIntyre said: “Wyndham City is partnering with the State Government to jointly contribute to the refurbishment of the Youth Resource Centre.”
“Wyndham City Council is contributing $143,000 and the State Government is contributing $150,000 through the Youth Hubs Grants Program towards the refresh and update of the redevelopment of the Youth Resource Centre.”
“We encourage young people to complete the survey to help create an environment at the Youth Resource Centre that is inclusive and inviting for young people.”
Wyndham Council Youth Resource Centre supports the young community, aged 12-25, with counselling and mental health support, employment, general youth support services and youth programs.
The survey is open until 16 July 2023.
