Wollongong City Council’s Youth Services has an exciting range of events planned for Youth Week 2019 with a music concert and sporting activities at Bellambi Point, live music, aerosol art, skateboarding in Berkeley and a rolling racer challenge in the Crown Street Mall.
The events, from 11 to 18 April, are all free and include live music, arts and sports and DJs.
“Youth Week celebrates and acknowledges our young people,” Wollongong City Lord Mayor Councillor Gordon Bradbery AM said. “We have events at Dapto Town Square, Bellambi Point, Holborn Park in Berkeley and in the Crown Street Mall.
“This Youth Week is a marvellous opportunity for young people to share their ideas, attend live events, have their voices heard on issues that concern them and also to show off their talents. Best of all it’s basically to have fun and enjoy ourselves.”
