Campaspe Shire Council is seeking applications from schools, community groups or organisations interested in running an event during Victorian Youth Week (3 – 12 April).
Economic and Community Development General Manager, Keith Oberin said it is a great opportunity for the community to support our young people, working in partnership to deliver events and activities during the week long celebrations.
“Grants up to $500 are available and can be used for a variety of activities such as movie or games nights, art exhibitions, musical performances, sporting events or bus trips,” Mr Oberin said.
There are six grants available, with a range of criteria to be met including events must be:
- alcohol, smoke and drug free
- accessible to all young people
- based in Campaspe Shire during Victorian Youth Week.
Grants should empower young people, providing them with the opportunity to plan, deliver and attend various events.
